Learning Differences

College-bound students with learning differences have all of the same college planning needs as other students. We want to know about your interests, goals, and dreams. In addition, these students often bring a unique set of questions and concerns.
  • How much academic support do you currently use in high school and how much will you need in college?

  • Which colleges are going to meet your needs?

  • Do you know how to secure accommodations for standardized testing?  Do you know what accommodations are available?

  • Should you disclose your learning differences to colleges? If so, how and when should you disclose?
The structure of college consulting for students with learning differences is similar to that of every other student, plus some additional considerations and things you need to know. Also, you may need a little extra support to navigate the application process. We’ll help you understand the differences between high school and college, the various levels of support at colleges, and how to structure your college search in light of your individual circumstances and needs.
